There is something thrilling about being deep in the woods surrounded by so many different animals and wondering which ones will show themselves. One animal that’s always on our list that we hope to see is the American Black Bear.

Did you know their sense of smell is seven times more sensitive than a domestic dog’s? That is why it so important to use a bear bag when camping around black bears. They are scavengers and if they can smell it they will find it.
